For parents who are parenting from a neurodiversity lens, or who would like to learn more about how to do this. I can incorporate the neurodiversity lens into our work together, building off of my own lived experience as an Autistic PDAer.

(PDA stands for Pathological Demand Avoidance. You can find more information about it here.)

I usually center this form of coaching around the CPS model, and then I bring in the neurodiversity perspective to complement the CPS work that we are doing.

Special note for parents of PDAers: 

If you're feeling like the CPS model is not going to work for your child, let me tell you that it is highly likely that we CAN make it work. As a PDA adult, I can guide you on understanding the PDA experience, and on implementing the CPS process while still honoring your child's PDA profile.
